Your eligibility for these programs is based on your property’s location and your gross household income. The availability of funding is first come, first served. See the details for each program listed below.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

COUNTY CORP MONTGOMERY COUNTY CDBG EMERGENCY AND ACCESSIBILITY PROGRAM

Federal Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant funding from Montgomery County’s office of Community and Economic Development. For residents of Montgomery County outside the cities of Dayton and Kettering with household incomes at or below 80% AMI. Up to $7,500 grant for repairs and handicapped accessibility modifications.

COUNTY CORP DAYTON AND MONTGOMERY COUNTY ODOD HOME REPAIR AND ACCESSIBILITY MODIFICATION PROGRAM

Essential Home Repairs and Handicapped Accessibility Modifications for homeowners whose household income is at or below 50% AMI within Montgomery County, Ohio. Match funding provided by Montgomery County’s office of Community and Economic Development and the City of Dayton, Ohio with a grant from the Ohio Development of Development (ODOD). Up to $10,000 grant for repair or modification.

CARILLON HOME IMPROVEMENT FORGIVABLE LOAN PROGRAM

Forgivable loans for homes located in the Carillon Neighborhood in the City of Dayton, Ohio.  For households up to 80% AMI. Forgivable loans up to $10,000 forgiven 20% per year over 5 years. This program is funded by the City of Dayton, Ohio CDBG funding and County Corp Housing Trust Funds.  Program ends December 31, 2022.

NORTHWEST DAYTON HOME IMROVEMENT LOAN PROGRAM

County Corp has partnered with Aloft Dayton to provide financial assistance for home improvements to qualified homeowners inside qualifying Northwest Neighborhoods** (See Map Below). Homeowners may receive up to $10,000 in the form of a five-year forgivable loan toward interior and/or exterior health and safety repairs. The loan is forgivable over five years of living in the home as your primary residence. This program has no household income limit. The funds are limited and are available on a first come, first-served basis.

COUNTY CORP WEATHERIZATION GRANT PROGRAM FUNDED BY CENTERPOINTE ENERGY

Provides grant funding for housing units with natural gas heating located in the Montgomery County, Centerpointe Energy service areas and have a household income at or below 80% AMI. This program addresses issues such as insulation, furnace repair or replacement, hot water heater repair or replacement and supporting of the additional expense of upgrading mechanical and building components from standard grade to energy-star rated equipment.
